Chlorantraniliprole 47.85 % w/w SC is an Anthranilic diamide insecticide. It is a broad-spectrum insecticide and recommended for controlling lepidopteran pests of sugarcane, maize, rice, chickpea, red gram, green gram, soybean, groundnut, cotton, chilli and tomato. Cautionary Statement: - 1) This product is moderately toxic to aquatic organisms, and fresh water fish with long lasting effects thus product containing molecules may be avoided near aquaculture and should not be applied when bees are actively foraging. 2) This product is toxic to silkworms. Do not allow drift to nearby mulberry plantations and silk worm culture facilities. Do not rotate mulberry plantations after crops where Chlorantraniliprole based formulation was commonly used in foliar or soil applications. 3) Avoid direct application, drift, or disposal of product into waterways. 4) Not to be used for any purpose other than specified on label/leaflet.
As drenching over sugarcane setts for control of early shoot borer, top borer and stalk borer at the time of planting.
Application can also be done as soil drench at the base of newly emerged sugarcane seedlings at first (paleva planting) or
second irrigation (dry planting). For the management of later broods of top borer (3rd to 5th), single application can be
done as soil drench in the month of May-June. Don’t make more than one application in a crop cycle. 2.Maize: For the
management of boreres and fall armyworm, first application shall be done as foliar spray at 2-3 leaf stage of crop followed by second application at 10 days after first application. Don’t make more than two applications in a crop cycle. 3.Crops other than sugarcane and maize: Initiate first foliar application when pest reaches to ETL (Economic Threshold Level) followed by second application at 10-14 days interval depending upon the pest pressure. Don’t make more than two applications in a crop cycle.
1. Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew betel leaves while applying the product 2. Wear long sleeves shirt, long pants,
chemical resistant gloves, mask, goggles and covered shoes while handling the product. 3. Avoid spray drift onto the
spraying person by spraying with the direction of the wind. 4. Do not blow the spray nozzle with mouth, clean the blocked nozzle with a thin stem or brush. 5. In case of any spillage on the body, wash exposed parts with soap and plenty of water 6. Wash hands and unprotected parts of the body properly after handling. Remove and wash contaminated clothing separately after use.
May cause mild eye and skin irritation.
1. The packages containing the insecticide shall be stored in original container in separate rooms or premises away from
the rooms or premises used for storing other articles, away from the reach of children and livestock, animal feed or shall
be kept in a separate almirah under lock and key. 2. The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticide shall be well
built, dry, well-lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimension to avoid contamination with vapor of insecticide.
No specific antidote is available, treat symptomatically.
